Fourteen years, one township, no shortcuts

Boro Lawn Care started with one truck on Amwell Road in 2011. We still work the same neighborhoods — we just have more trucks now.

Our story

Built on the route we still run

Marcus Delgado started cutting lawns in Hillsborough the summer after high school with a trailer, a push mower and eleven customers on Woods Road. Fourteen years later the shop is on Amwell Road, there are five crews, and about forty of those original streets are still on the schedule.

What has not changed is how the work gets priced and how the phone gets answered. Every quote is measured, not guessed. Every crew member is a W‑2 employee who has been through our training, not a day‑hire. And when you call during business hours, someone in Hillsborough picks up.

We are not the cheapest lawn company in Somerset County and we do not try to be. We are the one that still shows up in the third week of August when it is ninety‑four degrees and the grass has stopped growing — because that is the week you find out who you actually hired.

What we stand on

Four rules we do not bend

The quote is the price

Flat rate, written down before we start. If we find something unexpected we call you first — we never add it to the invoice and hope you do not notice.

Your day is your day

You get a fixed service day and a text the night before. Rain pushes you to the next dry slot, never to the back of the line.

Same faces every week

Crews are assigned to routes, not shuffled daily. The guys on your lawn in October are the ones who were there in April.

Insured, properly

NJ Home Improvement Contractor registration, $2M general liability and workers comp. Certificate available on request, before you sign anything.

Credentials

Licensed for the work we actually do

Applying fertilizer and control products in New Jersey requires certification, and plenty of companies apply them anyway. Ours does not.

Ask for our certificate of insurance and we will email it the same day. If a contractor hesitates on that request, that tells you something.

The crew

Who is actually on your property

Small enough that you will know their names by June.
